Please note that as we are a private club, our courts are not hired to the public. Joining the club is, however, quick and easy, and club members are welcome to bring visitors to play at the club for a small visitors fee.

Jeff Greening
President
Jeff has been a member at South Hawthorn for more than 20 years and has served on Committee for 4 years.
He is night convenor.
He is Captain of the Thursday Section 2 “Cavaliers”
Sue Davey
General Committee
Sue has served on Committee for many years during the 20 years she has spent as coach at the club.
Dylan Edgley
Junior Convenor
Dylan represents the coaches on Committee and as Junior Convenor focuses on Junior issues at the club.
Ken Yeo
Treasurer
Ken has been a member at South Hawthorn Tennis Club since 2014. As a passionate social player, Ken has attended coaching at the Club and is regularly involved in weeknight competitions. Currently, he is a member of the South Hawthorn Rockets team.
Ken has recently joined the Committee as the Club’s Treasurer.
Sue Doring
Vice President
Sue has been a member at South Hawthorn for more than 20 years and this is her second stint served on the Committee.
She attends coaching on Wednesdays and has played in numerous day and night competition teams.
Brett Somerville
Secretary
Brett has served on the Committee for 15+ years and has now been Secretary and Membership secretary for several years.
Brett is an architect by profession and has made many contributions to Committee advising on building concepts and proposals.
Brett contributed extensively to the building of the new clubhouse.
Brett plays night tennis for the ” Gads” (Green Acres Duck Shooters ) on a Thursday night, as well as having a social tennis group.
In his younger days ( not so long ago ) Brett was a keen runner and has completed 8 Marathons. Not sure if any South Hawthorn members could match that!!
Brett was awarded Life Membership in 2016.
